Afghanistan: Opium and Children

Perhaps in direct opposition to what was said at the presentation a few weeks back, here is an article about the prevalence of opium in Afghanistan. It talks about its common usage by the Afghani people. It uses sweeping generalizations (“Most Afghans aren’t aware of the health risks of opium”), but still can be used to further teach students of a possible area of concern for future debates.
